Best mountian in Colorado?

I'm from Alaska, and I've never been out of state for skiing. I'm going to Colorado next week, anyone got any suggestions on where to go, or where not to go? Thanks.

Very vague question. There tons of terrain in CO. From some of the best parks to some of the best big mtn lines in the continental US. Maybe give us an idea on the area of Colorado you plan to travel to and the type of skiing you will be doing.

Silverton. Telluride. Red Mtn. Early season Wolf Creek is always a good time.

Basically SW Colorado.

Unless you strictly want to ride park...then summit.

VAIL IS FUCKING HUGE! and the back bowls are dope for powder and what not. not a ton of wicked steep terrain, but for park keystone

breck or key for park, abay for small crowds and fun powder days. Vail is also very fun for powder days and huge, their park is alright. Down south if you go to wolf creek or crested butte or purgatory on a powder day you'll have so much fun. And if you can do some back country do it because it's all great in colorado. You just can;t go wrong.

most bang for the buck...i'd say vail. it's fucking enormous. the front side of the mountain is meh, but the back bowls are ridiculous on a pow day. it's definitely not the gnarliest terrain, but still has some decent stuff...some cliffs, trees, etc. i'm kinda lazy, so the lift accessible bowls are a lot of fun.

if you're only looking to ride park, hit key or breck. breck has better terrain if you want a dope ass park+the ability to ski some chutes, etc., but the lift lines can be a bit ridonkulous if you aren't at the right place at the right times.

or there's always cb, steamboat, etc. you've got so many options in CO. it really depends on what you want to do.
