Big white is notorious for being really foggy, but the couple of days i skied there last season were sick. foot and a half of pow every day.

i've been to big white and silver star and maybe i wasn't there long enough to find the good spots but i felt like they didn't have much to offer

Well, villages and beginner chairs do tend to be relatively flat...

Whistler definitely is the best all around mountain, its got killer terrain, pretty good snow quality, lots of vert and bowls, good fall line skiing, parks, etc. The interior has the snow going for it though, okanagan powder > west coast cement. Big white is my favourite out of the group, best variety and the park is usually sick and has its own chair. That being said, I haven't been to revelstoke or kicking horse yet.

Whistler also has a gay ski week. A huge plus if you're into the same sex.
