Best mountain around boston? No car?

Just started going to Boston College after moving here from Zurich, Swizterland, and im looking for the best/closest mountain that i dont need a car to get to? Does anyone have experience in the boston area? And does anyone know if theres shuttles or trains to get to any mountains? thanks
 
Wachusett has a ski train, that's probably your best bet when it comes to consistently being able to get there without a car. Wachusett also is barely a mountain though. There may also still be buses that run up I-93, which gets you Waterville, Loon, and Cannon

it would probably be best to make friends with some other skiers who can take you places and shit
 
Nashoba is about 30min and Wachusett is about an hour, but you'd need a car to get to both.

If you skate, there's a really sick little DIY park at cleveland circle. PM me if you want more precise directions
 
Blue hills is like 5 mins from boston but it really sucks haha. But it is skiing haha
 
I'm living in Brighton for the winter and will be heading up north to ski a whole bunch. PM me if you need a ride or wanna meet up.
