according to rolling stone (the same people who said jack white was #7 on best guitarist of all time) the hives are the best band to see live. Im gonna have to say pink floyd.

I saw the Grateful Dead 4 or 5 times when I was younger, and they were by far the best live shows ever.

Actually asac, the Doors fucking sucked live. Ask any knowledgeable fan. Every once in a blue moon they would do a decent show, but Morrison was usually way too drunk and had pissed himself a few times before they got on stage. In my opinion, best live show I have ever seen goes to Air. Absolutely ridiculus. Also, the 3 straight late 90's New Years Phish shows at MSG rocked as well. Actually, any phish show from 97'-98' for that matter.

ridetweaks, i'm guessing that they mean the best current live act, out of all the newer bands, because i really don't believe they would call them the best live band ever, especially since they're so unestablished.

the best band i've seen is incubus, they're awesome. oar is real good too.

s.t.u.n. is the best show ever. they have so much energy on stage, and were just incredible. sad to say that they beat out grateful dead. i dont know if anyones ever heard of stereogram, but they are fuckin amazing too. aerosmith wasnt as much showy, but they played for a long ass time, and sounded incredible.

Dave is always a good live show so is phish, and i just saw incubus agqain and they def rock out in concert! So many good acts to choose f5rom

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

I've only ever seen one popular band in concert, at least popular in BC/elsewhere in Canada. And that's Trooper, they were sick too. For those who don't know who they are, you might've heard the song 'The boys in the bright white sports car'. But we're supposed to be getting BC/DC this year, which is a B.C.-based AC/DC Cover.

Weezer put on a ridiculous show when I saw them. Counting Crows sucked last week. Government Mule put on a really really good show when I saw them in Washington, DC. So my vote goes to Government Mule.
