sure, full tilt may be overhyped, but i've never seen a gaper wear them honestly. Isn't the whole point of someone being a gaper that they have no idea what they're doing/wearing?

idk where ur from but lots of gapers have ft's because either someone on ns told them to get them and they took them seriously, or because they're marketed as a "freestyle" boot. But wearing ft's doesn't make you a gaper by any means, which is the point of this thread i think?

I rode those boot's when they were know as Flexon 5's. One cold day after skiing I hit them together to knock of the snow. Shell cracked open like an egg.

Plastics have come a long way since then.

Just curious, how are apex boots considered gaper boots? They are an amazing concept and may be the right boot for a lot of people.

They are pretty pricey and I've heard they dont perform all that great

the manufacturers seem more interested in marketing to gapers anyways

Seen a couple old shredders wearing them...my guess is they don't have the ankles to get into real boots. They don't need max performance anyways so it works for them.

For most everybody else though...kook alert

I don't think you actually know what a gaper is.

No clue what they're called, but what are those things that I've seen people wear that hang down over their ass like a beaver's tail?
