Best FUN xbox 360 game

i just got an xbox 360, looking for FUN games, none of this hard annoying shit, just fun.

You know what im saying?

now what should i get?

looking for shooters, *that arn't all dark and annoying.

but im up for anything
 
Stranglehold is going to be sick, that comes out in a week or so. I would download a bunch of demos from the 360 Live Marketplace, get a feel for what games you like. And if you like driving games, check out DiRT! That game was way fun. And Halo 3 comes out in a little more than a month.
 
stick to gears of war, halo 3 (soon) and grand theft auto 4 which i think will be the best game ever made if the other GTA's have any say in the matter
 
Oh yeah, for some other shooters, Gears of War you can't miss that one, and Call of Duty 2 is very good as well. NOT Call of Duty 3 though, that one sucks.

for shooters gears of war was a lot of fun but the campaign was really short. definitly get it if youll be playing online though. battlefield 2 was awesome but it was pretty tough i thought, online was a lot of fun too. actually any shooters i think are twice as good if you play online. GRAW 1 and 2 are sweet if your into more tactical shooting games.

as for other games i just picked up dirt(rally racing) which im loving and the bigs which is kind of like extreme baseball, its fun but gets kind of repetitive playing through a whole season.
 
I'm definitely going to disagree here, the campaign of gears of war was way more fun than the online play. I can't stand the slow movement in online play. Beating campaign mode in all 3 difficulty levels was awesome, it's even more fun playing cooperatively with a friend. And the GRAW games sucked.
 
guitar hero is the only game i played for more than 3 months and didn't totally forget about. but my xbox died, just sent it back for a new one
 
and after u watch/play hard and expert on guitar hero for a few rounds it makes it seem like shits moving...you'l see
 
Haha yeah, I beat it in 3 days and then spent two more days getting the 1000 miles in career mode Achievment, then I took it back to Gamestop. Fun game.
 
best fps out for the 360 is shadowrun, only has online play buts its so much fun. If you enjoy online shooters def get it, way better than gears or rainbow
 
dead rising or dead or alive 4 are the best "fun games" for 360. DOA is so much fun to play with friends and DR is such an entertaining game in general.
 
I agree, it could have used another level or two at the least. Hopefully there will be a more in depth story for the sequel, whenever that comes out.
 
yea how short it was was very disapoionting. GOW2 is gona be so dope i cant wait. but halo3 is gona off the shiznit i heard they are selling it at 7-11 and random places like that. halo 2's online gameplay is the best out there, atleast until halo 3
 
Call of Duty 4, which comes out this fall looks like it will be very fucking sick. Infinity Ward, the makers of Call of Duty 2 are making #4. They had no hand in making Call of Duty 3, it was made by a different 3rd party developer. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, looks unreal, check it out.
 
lego star wars. you build stuff with legos and then break stuff with legos. and you have a lightsaber. it doesn't get much better than that.

something just plain fun to play. Missions not suuuper easy but easily winable in like 2-3 tries.

anyone have any expeirience with saints row?

and gears of war... more details on that?

up for any new ideas still. going to go get a game later today.
 
Gears of war is more of a take cover and aim your shots game than Halo's run and gun style...for both campaign and multiplayer.
 
Saints Row is mad fun but gets wicked boring after a while. Forza 2 like someone said above is sick but can be really really really frustrating
 
buddy the sickest game ever is marble blast. you are a marble and go through mazes and shit, sounds gay but man me and 2 buddies played it alllll the time last summer.

Saints Row is basically Grand Theft Auto with a twist. If you're into pimpin ho's, shooting cops and stealing cars, give it a try. It has a few features that GTA didn't, Insurance Fraud, Loan Sharking, Cracking Safes and other shit like that. The story mode goes by pretty fast, then there is the chore of beating the activities, which is extremely time consuming.
 
just download a shitload of demos like stranglehold, amped 3, ect. and it will keep you busy. I myself hate baseball but i downloaded "The Bigs" and its so fun, i would never buy the game but its like mlb street.
 
gears is exactly what he doesnt want. its dark, and hard. i hate that game so much. its so cliche and thats the only reason most people like it.
 
i dug it for a couple weeks.....then it just got sooo boring. and i couldn't figure out how to beat the bald guy when you have to shoot the semi. i kept getting killed, it was fucking annoying.
 
call of duty 4 is coming out soon, probably the best shooter on the 360, might even beat halo.
 
well if MOST people like it then i would say the odds are in his favor of liking it. yes its set mostly in the dark but i wouldnt say it was hard by any means.
 
oh and if you dont already have them get halo 1 and 2 and amped 2 for regular xbox. you can pick them up for dirt cheap and theyre definitly fun.
 
yeah, Fight Night Round 3 is a very fun game! There is supposedly another one coming out soon, but I hear they are mixing it with a remake of an older boxing game, so we'll see how that turns out.
 
if i had to choose my favorite most fun games i would def pick gears of war and guitar hero. gears can be hard but its also fun and you can make it way easier
 
Amped 3 even though its snowboarding still dope, also i think freak out the ski game just came out dunno how that is though
