I hear if you buy a pair of dropkicks and a pair of tom wallischs you become a ski god. Just fucking kidding. See a bootfitter.

Go. See. A. Bootfitter.

As a boot fitter, this. You most likely have 0 idea what last you need so in reality you could find any of these boots the best for freestyle just really depends on your foot and how much you weigh... etc.

You might even find a dalbello could fit better, simular feel just a little bit more technical crap in it.

not for much longer they have some cool things in development, not to say they are trash now by the way.

You are the boot master so I'll take your word for it, but both pairs of fulltilts I had were awful. The buckle tracks wear out so quickly they become useless halfway through the season, the shells are prone to cracking long before they should, they leak, the toes/heels are not replaceable on most models.

In contrast, my dalbellos are still going strong after 3 seasons as opposed to the fulltilts which lasted a season or less.

They are not the best I will give you that but with the evolution and soul shells they have improved. They have upgrades for next season too and the year after they have something Im excited to try out coming.

I'm no expert in the industry but it seems that people have smartened up on their boot choices. Full tilt is likely coming to the quality standards of the industry and attempting to innovate due to the "omg wow such kewl boots lemme buy!!" hype dying down, causing sales to drop as well. When I got my boots from a fitter near me, he didn't even try a full tilt boot on me since he said they would break after a couple seasons of hard riding and it wouldn't be a worthwhile investment.

Wondering when they're gonna get into that touring game...
