Best food in park city?

Gonna be in town from the 5-10th but have no idea what's good. Looking for good breakfast and dinner places that won't break the bank, also if anyone knows what places do lunch specials (like here in Breck there's numerous places that do like burger, fries, and drink for 7 bucks, and obviously they don't advertise it which is why I'm asking).

any info would be appreciated! thanks!

Davanzas kills it, it is a pizza place right off main street. Cheap food and a good vibe. Wasatch Brew Pub on the top of main street isnt bad either.

Down in red stone (closer to the canyons and the highway) there is 5 guys, cafe rio, a bar called Maxwells, all that kind of stuff. Cheap and easy.

There is a bomb bagel place called Wasatch Bagel and Grill right in the heart of PC, by the grocery store kind of.

Besides that, Flying Sumo is a dank sushi place, but its kind of pricey. As for bars, No Name and O'schucks are where its at normally.

Squatters has the best breakfast. Hands down.

Best restaurants:

Prime for Steakhouse. Butchers is a very close second. Better bar/lounge at Butchers. Good sea food at both as well.

Sky bar/lounge is not bad for cocktails. Not sure if the restaurant is back up and going, but used to be a nice French place under it.

The Italian place next to Prime is quite good as well. Only real good Italian place.

Sammy's bistro is my favorite place in town hands down. I don't know if they have the specials in the winter but they do pulled pork sandwiches with chips for $5 on mondays, taco tuesdays, $.50 wing wednesday etc.

Also for breakfast you HAVE to go to The Eating Establishment. Prices are ok, like $10 for a giant plate of eggs benedict. Their service is slow and the place is usually crowded but its so worth it.

loco lizard is bomb if you want some good mexican food

we just got five guys and cafe zupas if youre on a budget so to speak, but davanzas is great place in town. two locations, one in the junction right off the highway near walmart, and there is one downtown PC. good specials too. they have an unreal philly cheesteak sandwhich. like its almost too good.

Do:

Davanzas- as said above, cool vibe, good food, pretty cheap.

El Chubasco- best Mexican spot in the immediate area. Big burrito will run you about $8

Bangkok Thai- $10 unlimited pad Thai- and it's awesome. They don't advertise it this time of year, and you have to go to the downstairs bar area to get it (don't serve it in the main, expensive restaurant area)

Drafts- right near the bottom of the gondola at Canyons. Amazing customizable burgers, good wings, fried jalapeño Mac and cheese.

Main St Deli- awesome omelettes, good sandwiches, not too expensive. My favorite breakfast spot.

Don't:

Main St Pizza- tourist trap, shitty service, bland food. Expensive.

Squatters is always good and cheap. O'Shucks has $3 beer scooners and $3 burgers on Tuesdays (and good cheap food the rest of the week). Kimball Junction also has a few sushi places but I can't remember names, they're all pretty good though.

Last time we went to the Kimball Davanza's my boyfriend got a really bad case of food poisoning from I think the fry sauce. We've eaten there a ton though and that's the only time something's ever happened, but I still don't think I'd trust their fry sauce haha. He was sooo sick, no thanks.

you'll be spending more like 8 - 10 but you gotta go to el chubasco ... some of the best mexican food around.

also don't go to that billy Blancos motor city Mexican place. overpriced and really shitty food for it being a new restaurant and all. The chips are always fucking stale, it's disgusting

Davanzas in town is aight. Davanzas at the junction is hype though!

I don't usually eat in PC cause it's mad expensive though.

little late here...

wasatch bagel has bomb breakfast and the rest of the food is good too

right next door is miners grill, reasonably priced and has decent food

davanas is alright, dont order a burger there.

back door deli is best place for sandwiches. $10 gets you any sandwich (most are $9+) a side and a drink, great deal

baja at the base of pc has really good happy hour deals from 2pm-5pm

sammys is good, as is chubs, as people have said

park city chinese and thai is good little more expensive tho

maxwells at the junction has the best pizza/wings in pc, period

squatters is always good, not "cheap" but reasonable

burgers at no name are super good along with other pub varieties.

hope that helps for your last three days

thanks eheath, and the rest of you as well. Definitely wouldn't have found probably any of these places if you guys didn't help!

We ate at el chubasco and davanzas at the junction. Both were great, love the salsa bar and lack of formal sit-down restaurant at "chubs", and the thai chicken pizza at davanzas was awesome as well as the cheese steak.

looks like we'll check out maxwells and back door deli before we go, as well as a few others. Stoked that some snow is falling, 9990 lift was $$$ at canyons today toward the afternoon. looks to be another 7-11 inches tomorrow as well!!!!!

Red iguana is a great Mexican food place, every time I'm in SLC for a trade show we go there. Can have a long wait sometimes.

Davanzas is a no brainer. Other than that:

Windy Ridge Cafe is hit or miss for most people. On Tuesdays they have a decent taco special.

Schezwan Kitchen is out at the junction, next to Loco Lizard. Their lunch special is around $8, and super killer. Big portions, all cooked well.

El Chubascos is one of my favorite mexican places, reasonable prices, Jill and Craig (owners) are also the shit. If you want to drive a bit, Tarahumara is down in Midway, about 20 minutes away, and is phenomenal.

Sammy's Bistro is in the same strip as Chubascos, and has phenomenal food and drink, all for sub $15. That said, I am biased, I worked there for 3 years, but I never had a single person complain about the food.

Wasatch Bread and Bagel has a killer breakfast set up, really shitty for any other meal. Decent coffee.

Teriyaki Bowl is kind of a dive, but its good sized portions and has a pretty good sauce that they serve. Right next to Wasatch bread & bagel.

Cisero's on Main Street is more expensive, but their food is top notch. That's all I'd recommend on the Main St side of things.

Places to avoid:

Loco Lizard - some people are avid fans, but I haven't had any good meals there.

Main St Pizza Co - I think that's what its called. Green building, big glass windows, you look down into the restaurant. Main St pricing ($$$) with MRE taste.

Extras:

Booster Juice makes some of the best smoothies you'll ever encounter. Great apre ski for the underage.

Anaya's is the Mexican market right next to the Maverick gas station on Bonanza Drive. In the back they have a taco stand, and for $4 can have some amazing street style tacos. The hours are a bit iffy and English is spotty, but if you can get there when it's open - totally worth it.

Addendum:

Billy Blanco's and Sushi Blue are both Bill White Restaurants (owns 10 or so of the best spots in PC). Generally on the more expensive side, you can eat there cheaply however. Amazing food. Highly recommend both of them.

Kneaders (also at the Junction) has killer french toast - bottomless until 11 o clock.

Squatters is kick ass.

Don't go to Good Thymes Bistro - terrible food, high prices, shit service.

Some people like Maxwells, I am not one of those people.

If you want to spend a lot of money, High West.

Wasatch Bagel has gone downhill. I used to love it because you got a decent portion size for a reasonable price. Now the quality with most items has gone to shit and their prices keep going up. Went for lunch the other day and a sandwich, fries, and a drink was $14... Was more like $8-$10 not that long ago. Go to Park City Bread and Bagel- it's one exit away in Jeremy Ranch. My buddy is the owner and is a big skier, always has ski movies playing on the flatscreens, massive breakfast burritos/sandwiches, and cheap prices.

maxwells aint too bad. its just if you can get a seat there. not to mention there are always little fucking kids running around bumping into tables and shit.
