Best Earbuds for Shredding?

Been looking for a solid pair, any suggestions? My ipod buds i use don't stay in my ear, and the chord isn't long enough. I have a pair of icons that i try to fit under my helmet sometimes, but that doesn't always work so well. Any help appreciated.

I have some Nixon ear buds that work great under my helmet ear flaps. Super long cord, the ear piece is flat, and they are pretty deep in your ear so they won't fall out.

first off, OP i love your icon, we should talk about how awesome '][' is some time

second, just pick up a pair of sports buds from any store, the kind with a loop that goes behind your ear. You never know when you might break them skiing, so the $10 ones at walmart are the best choice I have found.

T9 for life! There was just an article on them in snowboard mag i think, all about the gnarly spots they hit.
Anyways, thanks for the input everyone, i'll do some more research and see whats up. I'm not worried about breaking them, and if they stay in my ear, then i'm happy.
Also, any types that give good sound quality but still allow you to hear other stuff? Cause i hate having to take out an earbud to hear people. It's a tough tradeoff, but i'm sure there has to be something out there.

^ thats a very tough trade off. i normally just wear earbuds with only one in so i can still hear whats going on around me. the white ipod style headphones dont stay in my ear and always hurt like a bitch.

skullcandy asym

the wire loops over your ear in order for the earbud to go in correctly so if they do fall out of the ear, they won't fall down. also, when they are in your ears, they are flat so your beanie and goggle strap doesn't shove them into your ears cause all that pain.

$30 from skullcandy http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/earphones-earbuds/asym.html (or just google them, probably pretty easy to find a better price)

ive owned mine for about a year and they are the only skullcandy headphones other than my icons that have zero problems. they did something right with these.

It's actually a tough decision for me. Ear buds that can actually go in my ears, but not hear people as well, or icon 2s that can't fit under my helmet, but can hear people.

I came in here to post this. Really good headphone for under hats/helmets.

On a related note, don't wear earbuds. As someone that works for a ski resort, I hate people that are oblivious to the rest of the world because of their music. If you want to listen to music, just throw some icons around your neck
