Yea. I hate this misconception that people think any electronic music that sounds hard and wobbly is dubstep.

This is Dubstep.

 
Sorry to dub post. But if you guys are into THAT *sigh* side of dubstep, you might enjoy this track more.

 
^this, if its not at 140 bpm, it can not even remotely be considered dubstep, people need to learn the difference between drum & bass, electro house, breaks, and dubstep

as for skrillex, pure pure bro step..

real dub is much deeper and should be appreciated for the deep baselines and technicality of the layering and sampling.

Not exactly true. Id give it about a 10bpm leeway either side. Swamp 81's starting to pump out way more funky stuff at the 130 and even lower range. Take it back nearly a decade and look at what Horsepower, Darkwan etc were doing on the other end of the spectrum too. Whilst there is a widely accepted general tempo area, precisely 140bpm is absolutely not a prerequisite for dubstep.

Led Zepplin should never be altered in any which way or form. These people have committed an artistic sin. I feel the need to somehow teach them a lesson but it seems like a very futile gesture needs to be made by somebody. I'll be back later NS, I've got some musical retribution to hand out.

GI'm loving the direction that a lot dubstep/bass music is going! So much room to grow. Loving the west coast glitchy-dubstep sound coming out. Gladkill is putting out some the sexiest tunes, in my opinion, right now.
