Best Concert Ever

Just wondering whats the best concert you ever have been to?

For me it would be Clapton without a doubt. I saw him on his world tour last summer and it was awesome. He played such a variety of music from a blues jam with Buddy Guy to Cream to his acoustic stuff. Best live musician I have ever heard.

Dude, I was just going to say the exact same thing! I saw the tour in Boise... man Clapton is the shit.

hmm i dunno, been to soo many, all punk concerts tho, umm its like a tie, warped was fun but bar concerts also kick ass, i saw good riddance/afi/and a ton of other good bands

don't do sleep and get 8 hours of drugs
 
Pearl Jam show in Montreal (october 00) and Radiohead outside show in Montreal (august 01) were great shows, hard to believe that a band could give a better performance than this. These are the best shows I've seen so far for sure...

 
The first time I went to see a show at CBGBs: H2O, Sick Of It All and a few crappy bands i dont remember. Its an amazing venue, so small and dumpy but that is where punk started, and so many great bands started- The Ramones, Talking Heads, Blondie...Second best show Back to school jam 1, boston the Rat. Reach The Sky, Ten Yard Fight, Bane...so many great bands in a cool little club.

Amen to all the crappy bar venues out there. Nothing like 500 more people than can fit in a small bar with cig smoke every where and people of all kinds. Everyone there just to enjoy the music and to have a good time, not some shitty extravegent pop music tour!

probaly Warper Tour last summer with AFI, pennywise, rancid, bouncing souls, dropkick murphys, soo soo so many more good bands.

pearl jam, e center, camden nj...almost was in a gang shoot out too which made it 10000 times better. i'd say warped tour last year in montreal, but i was too drunk to go from the night before.

Richie Havens (2nd row) last summer, BB King, Joshua Redman, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Foxtrot Zulu, Cake. Trey Anastasio and Willie Nelson this summer should be crazy.

my friend was there, im not a DMB fan at all, but he said it was cool... plus there was an orgy right in front of him

 
i was at the radiohead/kid koala/beta band show in montreal last august, and it was goddam amazing. other than that, chemical brothers in toronto a couple months was almost as good.

 
Yeah Redman is amazing. I think I am going to see the surviving members of the Grateful Dead this summer in Wisconsin. Hells Yea!

J5 / BLACKOLISHUS(sp?) absolutly AMAZING concert... you cna't beat either of those bands... but together... GOD DAMN AMAZING!!!!
