Best college class schedule to shred hard

ok so if im trying to ride as much as possible. how should i set up my class schedule for next semester and the following semester. Do you think the best way to do it is morning classes and ride in afternoon. or night classes and ride in the morning. or should you just load upon classes for a few days and try to get days off to shred the whole day. all situations plus weekends for sure. whats your take new schoolers??? proabably an hour from the mountain

Load up on two days a week, either Tuesday/Thursday classes, or Monday/Wednesday classes. Being that you're an hour away, you won't want to spend the cash to drive up every day. Ride 3-4 days a week, be happy.

Just load up two days (mon/wed or tues/thurs) and take one night class and you're set. I did all night classes my spring semester freshman year, it was kinda weird but i could ski every day ha

Tuesday class and Thursdau class... then shred shred shred shred shred I lived in Illinois I can't believeitishouldhavegonetoschoolinOregonorWashingtonorCandadaornearMammothCA

Yea I load up on tues/thurs then take night classes mon/wed with no class on friday. that way i can ski mon, wed, fri, sat, sun.

i have classes all day tuesday/thurday. But not class wendesday or friday. And only one class monday morning 10-11. Its possible just figure it out yourself you fucking pussy.

I have 2 day of school, tuesday from 8 to 12 and thursday from 8 to 6. Sick schedule but I cant ski , im hurt, so I work 35 hour and make some bank for whistler next season. Just take night class or some summer class.

Morning classes for sure, that way you can be done school for the day and can just go skiing and not think about it.

Yea I'd do morning classes then ski in the afternoon..kinda depends on where you are though. I can only ski on the weekends :(

yeah load up on tuesday thursday classes and maybe one monday wednesday class make it earlier though like 10 so u can go to that it will get you up then ski the rest of the day and youll have friday off also ski class is good idea if u can actually ski the teachers will usually just let u go ski and report back at some place and time later on

Load up tues thursday, srsly. Start at 8am and go till like 5pm... so worth it, i have no monday class, 1 friday class (which I dont need to go to) and my wed is also easy

Dont do morning classes. All the best pow is in the morning, at baker the pow is ripped inbounds by 1030. Kinda sucks if you got morning class huh?

I have all my classes on Tues Thurs except one night class at 6pm on Wednesdays. Ski 4 days a week, go to class for two, and do homework on one. Works great.

Just curious but do any of you guys have jobs during school? Whats your go-to job for paying the bills in the winter.

Youre probably going to take 5 classes each semester, maybe 6. Loading all those up over the course of 3 days instead of 5 will be hell. What I do is on mon wed and friday I take 3 classes spread out over the day. Make that a day to sleep in if you want to too. On tuesdays and thursdays I have 2 classes starting at 8 and ending at 10:45 am. Straight to the slopes from there, all day left to ride.

^^ that hardly leaves any room to ski

just take an extra class fall semester and go to school 5 days a week

then spring semester load up tuesdays and thursdays and you get 4 day weekends and 5 days of skiing

I only have classes tuesday and thursday and it works out great. I get to ski 5 days a week and get 2 days off in the middle to recover a little from the long weekends

REALLY the best schedule is to just have no classes. I only have 9 credit hours but I still ski pretty much every day. keep your mornings open if you're near a real mountain, having to skip class for a pow day sucks.

you guys who can ski often at school... damn you! I have test, on saturday, the same weekend my school is running a trip to killington (i'm in delaware mind you) and it's only 166 bucks to go, for everything; the ride there, tickets, and lodging. i think a lift ticket for two days would be like the same price as that yeah? i'm beyond pissed.

inb4 skip the test, not a chance. also, i have class every day, chem test on saturday in the morning for some reason, and two labs. and i only can take 4 classes cause the labs are 3 hours and they block scheduling for other classes.

in summary

i have morning classes mwf....then pile up classes tues thurs...so i ski MWF saturday sunday..works out quite nicely

accepted into CMC? I think you'll be fine, not exactly ivy league ;) haha. i was a c-student in high school.

sort of a joke, im pretty sure cmc is open enrollment anyway.

i really wish they offered their ski classes at all campuses though.

true. but it is possible to be a dedicated student and skier simultaneously. i'm not saying it's always easy, but it's so worth it.

I've been doin great with my schedule, start at 6 and out by 11 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 8-10 on MWF. Gives me the afternoon to ski hard if I'm not too busy. Take a light load in the spring and make up for it in the fall.

Make your Tuesdays and Thursdays hell, and if you absolutely need to have a third day to fill in more classes, make it Wednesday morning as early as possible. I have class 4 days a week (Monday-thursday) and I ski 4-5 days a week, because I end early enough to go night skiing any day I want at the local hills, and I only have one lecture on Wednesdays that I can easily catch myself up on. The ideal schedule is LOTS of T/TH classes and nothing else, but that might not be possible depending on which classes you need for your major. This is while taking a full course load.

The other option, which I think is actually best, is to make your fall semester a living hell. Take 7 classes in the fall so you can only take 3 classes in the winter. Then put all those classes second term on T/TH.

I'd load up on tues/thurs. Sitting in class Tuesday will suck, but you'll be thinking to yourself "God I wish I could fucking ski" That will get you pumped to ski wednesday, then on thursday repeat. Just what I would do

I personally think that's dumb. I want to be able to ski every powder day and I can't do that if the snow falls on one of those two days. After noon classes are best. Ski in the morning go to class in the afternoon. Work/party at night.

Aren't there some schools that focus on becoming a professional ski instructor or ski patroler?find those and sign up. school and skiing. ski school. that's where it is at.
