im looking more and more for a legit camera for the crew im in, my friend has a vx 2100, and a vx 1000 that he's willing to sell me. Also i just found a site that sells vx2100 for a really good price. But i also heard that panasonic made a legit cam this year, i dont know exactly what i should do. ive seen the vx1000 that hes trying to sell me in front of me and its in really good condition, and hes selling me a nice fisheye with it included. i really want a cam thats sturdy and durable, with a great quality. are there any canon cams that are legit?

i hate to be an asshole, but searchbar.

But if your looking in that range, 3 cams that are always put in the same category(ish). The sony vx2100, canon GL2 and if you wanna put up some skrill then the DVX100b.

ya, I know that, but there are other better cameras you could get for the same price, if not cheaper.

cameras that are good for filming skating and skiing and shit are generally 3 chip cameras and preferably with a handle and some sort of wideangle or fisheye

yea, i did tons of skate filming this summer for a local shop cals pharmacy, but the vx2000 and 1000 is what they used most of the time and thats what i filmed with.

yet it is still used to this day to produce a good amount of skate/bmx videos on the current day market

I never said it was a bad camera, just that it's old as hell and there are better cameras for the same price you can get a used one for.
