Best Boots

I'm plannin on buyin some new boots, anyone know which boots are the best for people with pussy ass weak shins,.. cuz um my friend has weak shins u know.. heh. but seriously is there any boots that are good and easy on your shins??

I'd say the rossi soft boots, I've never ridden them, but I'd imagine if it were softer your shins would have less pressure on them causing less pain.

any rossignol boots, fit and performance is great, but more importantly it what boots is comforable on your feet b/c a day with painful feet sucks

I wouldn't say 1080's if you have weak shins. Those things are beastly harsh on your shins, but for just about everything else they're very nice. Really good for hard landings.

If you wanna do it right, you should plan on spending around an hour in a shop trying on different boots. When it comes to boots, you shouldn't be too concerned with who makes them or what color they are... it's all about how they fit your feet. Everyone's foot is different and you don't wanna spend all that money on a boot from your favorite company that doesn't fit you correctly.

^well said. I would also reccomend a custom insole, even though you are looking for a boot that will be kinder on your shins. So, uh, tell your friend ;)

There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

And scratchcrew had it right with the custom insoles. If you can't try your boots on with them, on account of not having any, at least use the cheap green superfeet ones. You'll get a better idea of how your boots will fit when you have proper arch support.

I switched from the 1080 to the rossi b2 boot this year and have had no shin bang issues all season. Super comfy boot.

Thanks fellas, I've used the 1080 boots all year and they're good for evverything except your shins. I'm gonna look into the custom insole thing and some new boots next year, as for now here on PEI my seasons over.

I would suggest the Rossignol Soft Light 1 boot. Powder, skiercross, park.....it rips.

better to burn out...

...then fade away
