Looking for a legit store with heat-molding, custom footbeds, and a boot fitter that isn't 16 years old.

I'm willing to travel as far as the Minneapolis area from central WI if that's what it takes. I'd appreciate some advice on where to go, thanks!

Don't come to Minneapolis, you won't find anything here, but if you do Id go to Pinewskis

Trollhaugen Ski & Board Shop at Troll in Dresser, WI. Granted, I'm biased. However, John (Shop Manager) is a retired pro freestyle skier, he's been in the game longer than most people on this forum have been alive, and he does heat molding, custom footbeds, and has the experience of over three 16 year-olds combined. Skol!

Les Moise in milwaukee. 2 shops. Meet with Joe Timm. They won ski shop of the year at SIA a few years back.

Pierce skate and ski in Bloomington, MN. Get a appointment with Dave Hinz. I've been skiing in Colorado for 6 winters, and I still bring my boots back home cause he is the best in the midwest and better than 95% of the bootfitters in Colorado.

They do it all custom footbeds, intuition liners, vacuum molds, proper boot sizing, ect.

A lot of people claim because the shop is a lot of race gear on the walls that it's not worth it but that's cause they don't shit about how ski boots are suppose to fit.

Make an appointment in advance by a couple weeks cause they are booked pretty solid this time of the year.
