Best backyard surface

I would like to know what the best backyard surface to put on the ground for a dry slope is? I looked at m-snow and its good but expensive any other suggestions besides that?

it pisses me off how everyone directs everyone else asking about summer setups to that cult. it's nearly dead, as with almost all other cults save a few. you'll get maybe 1 or 2 responses per day where as if you let the post be in ski gabber it will be answered much quicker.

relevant to OP:

i use turf and on my drop in (not on the transition or lip) i have plastic chicken fencing and it works perfectly with water, no soap needed. it is about 7 feet high and i can easily have enough speed for 20 ft long up/down rails, etc.

i've had good experience with the turf. lots of people also like to use the snow fence or lattice.
