I think we should totally do this. Each person gets to vote for 5 or 6 of their favorite albums, then i will go through and make a bracket with seedings of each album depending on the amount of votes it gets. Then i will create a bracket with the albums and we will have another round of voting until the winner is chosen...
I will start:

1. My Aim is True - Elvis Costello
2. The Low End Theory - A Tribe Called Quest
3. Meriweather Post Pavillion - Animal Collective
4. Bringing It All Back Home - Bob Dylan
5. Forever Changes - Love
6. This Years Model - Elvis Costello

Just post your albums like I did. Then we will really know what the best album ever is, and no one can dispute it!!!!!

I completey disagree with your Elvis Costello and your Collective choice. They have 2 good songs on the whole MPP album. Just because it's your fave now, doesn't mean its a best of all time.

Minor threat- Minor threatLess than jake- losing streakNirvana- never minddescendents- someryBad religion- suferrage

He's just not that good in my opinion. I've tried to listen, I really have - and his lyrics are good, but he just never clicked for me. Not enough emotion I guess. Plus I really hate hipsters, and becuase Costello fashion is on the rise, it's bad enough that I don't like him that much to begin with.

I like rawer, less processed albums. Everyones got a different style, but at least you like Love. Forever Changes is a great album.

London Calling - The Clash

Nevermind the Bollocks - Sex pistols

any others i would mention would get laughed at. haha

Jeru The Damaja - Sun Rises in the East

Between the Buried and Me - Colors

And I actually agree, it was by far last year's best metal album, and one of the most creative and awesome metal albums I think I've ever heard. I think it should go down in history for changing what a metal album can be, actually.

1) white flight - white flight

2) Beatles - White Album

3) Strawberry Jam - Animal collective

4) Verbal and the Kickdrums - Idiot Savant

5) Ice Cube - The Predator

6) Violent Femmes - Violent femmes

My favourite album right now and probably one of the best ever is

Illinoise by Sufjan Stevens

Sufjan's a musical genius. Unreal musical writing, a huge variety of instruments, many different genres of music within the album, and his incredible and effective lyrical abilities make for an addcitive and memorable album.
