Should i get a winter one and take the liner out or get a summer one or should i get something different

If you want to wear a beanie under it with no earpads, get the summer version.

If you get the winter version and take out the liner, the fit will likely be too large, even with a beanie underneath.

Another good option would be the Team Macon which has removable ear pads (not the entire liner) and would fit better than the Macon Snow with the ear pads removed.
