Bern Macon 2.0 Question

Looking for a new helmet, I have the macon 1.0 rn but the helmet is scuffed af after some ussage, so I was wondering for the macon 2.0 do the ear peices come out without taking out the headliner? For the 1.0 I had to cut out the ear pads with scissors so I would prefer if I could keep the head liner while beable to take out the ear pads.

Or should I just get the macon 2.0 that doesn't come with the ear pads at all

Ended up going with a giro ledge, fit is much better than the Macon 1. Still have never tried on the Macon 2 tho

I had a large ledge and sized down to a medium Macon 2.0 w/o ear pads. Fits amazingly especially with goggles plus balaclava! It’s Super light and looks awesome!
