Berkeley or Santa Cruz

I might be going to either of these colleges, how far is it to skiing?

We have an old saying down on the bayou....Blehhhhh!!!
 
3 from berkley and 4 or more from SC. Go to berkley if you want a good education go to SC if you want to have fun.

you'll get a good education at both schools, and both towns are a hell of a lot of fun. berkeley has the academic reputation and it's closer, go there if you can get in (good luck)

 
Berkeley is the better school and it's closer. I might be at Davis if I don't go back east.

santa cruz is farther from snow but hell, we have the beach for the days you cant get to the snow. plus its a hell of a lot more fun. just dear lord dont wear puka shells.

 
if you go to berkeley, you probably won't have time to go skiing.

I know some people who go to berkeley and they ski, and they're just nuts ( I mean, good skiiers, partiers, and I assume they're good at school too).... it's all about finding time for everything

 
Berkley 2, santa cruz 4 and one half hours. Santa cruz would be more fun, my cuz graduated from UCSC and said at 2 am peeps would roll down the stairs and throw frizbees at you.
