Last years (2008-2009) Atomic Bentchetlers for sale. 183
Used but kept in great condition besides 2 scratches. Both were filled with p-tex so the bases are in great shape. No burrs in the edges and they have a race grind on them. Skied on a couple times in the east (where the scratches came from) and for a week out west.Mounted with Marker Dukes which have also only been used for a few weeks.
**I am selling these for a friend so just reply or PM me if your seriously interested and ill get you all of the details for contact and where the bindings are mounted**
these together retail for around $1180 so no lowballs please.
Im going to start the price with $775 dollars.

Bump because I hope to buy this exact set up before January. For those of you saying the prices are too steep, you've obviously never been in the market for powder skis before. They're way more expensive than your run of the mill park ski.

Good luck with the sale man, wish I wasn't broke and had cash at the moment :(

haha thanks man.
for those saying they are wayy too expensive for NS i would have to disagree. Although you don't see many super expensive setups in the B/S/T forum in many other forums people are always talking about how they are in the market for a pow/BC ski and they are deciding between the Bentchetlers, Hellbents and many others that are only 100-200 dollars less. so those of you who are saying lower the price 300 dollars i dont believe your saying that because you think $775 is a bad deal you just want a realllly good deal on sick expensive skis. I found this setup of Bentchetlers and Dukes on Backcountry and Evo for $1180 and both of those sites usually have pretty legit deals. So im taking $405 off of the price you would most likely buy this setup new for (if you were buying it off of Evo and Backcountry) and even though they are used it still seems like a pretty legit deal to me.
a.k.a. bump haha

really want these but the budget isn't quite there yet although i am in the market for somethin like these...where are they mounted?

The price of these ski is not high at all for what u are getting. Powder skis just aren't cheap. there is no way of getting around it if u want a decent ski. What COLE. is asking for these skis is not way to expensive. it is a very good deal for what u are getting. Also the price shouldn't be decreased any more just because there are core shots that have been repaired. Anyways if u are using them in powder it doesn't matter if they are there or not. If u are in the market for powder skis u need to realize that this is one of the better deals that u will find for a good pair of powder skis.

Price seems quite reasonable. I'm not in the market for skis, but if I was, I'd be scared a bit by that first gash. The p-tex fix seems badly done. Also, looking at the edges from those close ups on the scratches, the edges look a little sketchy too. Maybe their good, I don't know, just from looking I'm a little skeptical.

the edges are in prime condition just have some rust on them which will be taken off when they sell. and the p-tex job was done by my friend who has been working and running a ski shop for a long ass time and knows how to repair skis. and they've been skied on about 15 times or so

aren't those baarons?

I'll trade you my scratch steeze size 174 used like 5 times with marker baarons in really good condition

^^^He's definitely right. on evo, there 1,000. Just puttin it out there. So it really is a pretty good deal. Plus, used gear usually loses 1/3-2/3 of its original price. So there just about in that price range.

plus theres a bunch of coupons out there for evo that could lower them to like 550ish so pretty much you can get them new for same price
you need to lower your price dog us nsers a cheap bastards

**not splitting the skis and the bindings. sorry****still $775 no price change**
offer up
BUMP

just a suggestion but you should put this shit on TGR. the dudes on there are richer than us here on NS becuase they are like 80 and are retired. also, this might not be true, but im pretty sure there are more people looking for pow skis on TGR than on NS. sick skis, legit seller.

you wouldnt even get 600 for these on ebay.

-GTFO until you can acutally hook someone up with a deal.

-your skis are beat it looks like a monkey filled in that coreshot, the bindngs arent close to new

-alta ski shop was selling 2 pairs of these skis LAST SPRING for 250 a pair.

-dukes were just going for 230 new on one of those big companies web sites

-plus if you bought this set up for 690 plus 230 dukes, then take away the 20% on the skis that most people on this site have access to you are looking at your price for a brand new set up with a lifetime warranty.

-stop bumping this because everytime you do you just get shit on.

fuck you dude. how about you read the thread. my friend wants these sold and i offered to put them on NS to see if i could sell them. if they were my skis i would be selling them for a little less but this is the price my friend wanted to try to sell them for. why does it matter if i keep bumping the thread? everyone bumps threads where they are trying to B/T/S something so chill out.
if you can link me to where you would be able to buy this setup new for soo much less i will stop bumping the thread, or ask my friend if he wants to lower th price but until then keep the hate out of the thread and let me try and sell these skis.

Smuggs has a massive point, i cant be arsed fishing you out websites to see how much the gear is worth, thats your job. but tell your friend hes a retard if he thinks hes gonna get that much for his sticks, there not worth 700+ at all.

nasty skis, but really, a bit over priced

to fact check, dukes are going for 300 on tramdock, but thats def over, and evo gear had 5 pair a while ago for 310, but they're gone too.

i would expect to see a pair of dukes for about 350 minimum new, 250 in that shape.

as for the benchetlers, skis are like cars, the more you use them, the move value they loose. Judging by the condition of those skis, i would say about 350 tops.

overall, a good ski, and a nasty combo, but you may want to consider lowering the price to 600 if you want them to move

Not at all dude. COLE. did do his research when he made this thread. Not last spring when smuggs found them for that price. Right now this is the best deal u'll find for this setup. The total retail value of the set up is 1375. Cole is offering 775. 400 dollars off or 30% off. How is that not fair? His friend is not a retard. He fully understands depreciation and the value of things. He was a business major at the top business school in the country. I think he knows what he is talking about.

i talked to my friend and he agreed that lowering the price would be a good idea so...
**NEW PRICE: $675**

-The Commish said it best, "If you're trying to sell gear here, don't

expect to get market prices...unless you're willing to trade gonzo for

a router. The standard maggot/minion pricing paradigm is:

50% of current selling price (not MSRP)

-10% per year old

-10% per times drilled, per core shot, per delam...etc

-10% per marker binding attatched
wink.gif

+10-30% for Rare/High-demand item

chets sell for 699

dukes for 425

thats $1124

50% off is $562

ugly coreshot -10%

from this tried and tested internet forum formula based on reselling skis amongst a knit group of skiers, you should be asking circa $510 you want more take em to ebay.

My rule of thumb when buying/selinng used equipment on NS is 50%. Even if it is in great shape, which these really arent, you would be lucky to get 50% of retail. Granted both the dukes and bentchetlers are high demand items, so that may factor in to the price a bit, but these ARE NOT new, they already have holes drilled in the skis and the bindings are scratched. I know you are selling these for your friend and just trying to get him as much as possible but IMO you would be lucky to get 600 for them, so your asking price of 675 is good, since you never get the asking price on here.

Not trying to shit on your sale, other people already have done that enough, but I'm just trying to give you the lowdown. You NEVER get as much as you think the skis are worth on NS for 2 reasons. 1- Kids on NS are cheap/ poor 2- They expect you to hook them up with a deal for no reason at all other than being on NS.

To everyone else who has been a huge dick to you, thats just NS, they may be trying to get you to lower it significantly so they can get a good price for themselves, or they may just be a dick. There are better ways to go about telling somebody they are asking too much than calling them a faggot noob diickhead.

Good luck with your sale, I hope these sell. It is a sick setup and the coreshots really aren't that big of a deal since they have been repaired and they are pow skis. Expect to get bombarded with lowballs. I recently sold a pair of jesters on here and got multiple offers of 40-50 dollars. I dont know why these peopel even waste their time with offers like that.
