Beginner park ski

Hey guys,

Am gonna be spending a couple of months in a resort next season and am interested in spending 2 or 3 days a week at the park or maybe more if i like it. I've never ridden in the park before and just wondered what kind of standard skier you should be before you ride in the park?

Also what is a good ski for a beginner to use in the park but will work elsewhere on the mountain on the piste and off when I'm not in the park?

Cheers guys

ok cool, I didnt mean I was a beginner skier, but will be a beginner in the park kind of thing. Thanks for the advice.

How the hell are you going to be spending a couple months at a resort....you better be working there or your a spoiled little punk.

volkl legends, expressions, or dogans are pretty good beginner sticks I've heard.

no, before you go into the highest level park you should be able to slide rails comfortably and be comfortable in the air. start out in the beginners park and if your resort only has one park start on the small boxes and jumps then work your way to the bigger stuff once you get comfortable

how the hell are PE s forgiving

theres no "beginner" park ski. get a twin with a waist of at least 80. thatll be good for you. but one other question, why the hell would you spend time in the park.

Seriously, assuming that you're going to a good resort for a few months, hit the trees and the land, don't plan on staying in the park the whole time.

I would go for a scratch fs or BC,AR5,,Volkl Dogen,PE,maybe even a pistol if u live somwhere with snow. All good skis, you dont need any park experience to ski these skis.
