Begginer skates

So i want to try something else than skateboarding, and aggressive inline seems to be nice and is kind of like skiing. I don't know a thing about skates, and from the sites i've checked, the prices are really high (200-300$). I wanted to know which skates should i buy, a good skate for beginners which doesn't cost too much.

I've seen these ones, they might be a bit pricy but if they're good skates, i might pay this amount for them (i wear size 12 so i hope my feet won't grow bigger anymore).

So here's the skates:

If you have more advices they will be welcomed!

Thanks + karma

I've seen a difference between the frames, like they have 4 wheels which are the same size or 4 wheels, the inner ones being much smaller. Which is the best?

its about personal preference and performance. There are three setups

1. flat (four big wheels) you have more control and can go faster, but it decreases the room for grinds.

2. freestyle. in this setup there are 2 wheels on either end. there is a lot of grind space, but wheels wear down fast and rolling over bumps is not very smooth.

3. anti-rocker ( two big wheels, 2 little wheels) you have a larger grinding area than a flat set up, but its still easier to roll over curbs and bumps.

I prefer an anti-rocker setup. if you ride a lot of park though , most people prefer flat.

exactly what I was gonna say!

I started with razor cults and they're the shit for beginners, i wasn't a huge fan of the frames though so Id recommend changing the frames after skating for a bit. But overall great skates, not too heavy and not too pricey.

dont get size 12 skates.

that would be horrible and you would be sad when you put em on

try em on first or find someone with skates and try theirs on

just borrow someone elses or get them used or something to see if u like it, then get xsjados. back when I used to blade, I always regretted not getting the xsjados. no clue if they hold up well but in theory they should kick ass. lots of grinding room, super light. i just had salomon shitty ones from sports authority, but I was never that into it. the tiny soulplates sucked but they got the job done.

its a tough call though because honestly I think skates are kinda like ski boots. you cant just pick one and say "thats my skate" because it might not fit as well as another model. well you can. but you might not know what you are missing out on.
