Well, my favorite of the Vail resorts opens tomorrow with hopefully a big storm hitting them hard. Any one know how much terrain they'll be opening? They've gotta be opening quite a bit since the early season snow has been so good.
 
idk, but it was dumping up there yesterday, today and tomorrow are going to be sick
 
they dont open until tomorrow... might be real sweet. If anyone knows what they plan to open thatd be real cool to update on here. Im really just hoping for the thrasher glades off of strawberry lift. Mellow trees and no rocks under them.
 
well its going to be a dope opening day then

I have recently discovered that all the Vail Resorts have Facebook pages on which they post terrain updates, and where you can contact them with specific questions. I would highly suggest becoming a fan.

On BC's page, they are advertising 426 acres on chairs 6, 8, 5, 16, and 12. To me, that doesn't sound very good. I would go to Vail instead.
 
yeah figured that out just now... actually not as good as i thought. Chair 12 is running which gets you to Thrasher glades, some of my favorite early stuff... but i guess no skiing will really accessed from it.
