Beartooth closing for the season

been there every season since 19... sadly didn't make it this time. getting harder to plan trips out there, seems like they close earlier every year :/

Yeah i would have had to go opening weekend to make it thos year. If they open next year Im gonna try to make it back there. Rad place. Hopefully they continue to get snow and can keep it running for a while
 
Did they close al ready? Or is the last day this weekend? Never made it out but wanted to so bad for a day this year and would totally go up if there is more days.

Been kicking around the idea of getting out there for years but havent made it happen. Talked to a friend this spring and hatched a plan for next year to do spring pass at hood for like the last week in May, then hit beartooth on the way home on memorial weekend. Hope the weather lines up

Hopefully. Lots of good skateparks along the way if you skate too.

One of my homies was up on the beartooth highway riding on some small snow fields but that was a couple weeks ago now

Did you find any? I’m gonna be in Montana in a few weeks and would like to see some snow. Is the beartooth highway the only option?

I haven't checked. I know there are some SMALL glaciers up high in targhee wilderness area, so I'm thinking there's still some snow left up at the beartooths. I just don't know if it's enough to ski on or if its worth the drive
 
Don’t know about the beartooths the but bridgers Gallatin’s and Spanish peaks are looking almost completely naked

I would ask Beartooth Guides or any of the outfitters up on the pass or in red lodge. they should be able to point you in the direction of a patch, if it exist after these lovely summer temps...
 
was gonna head up there this year for the first time but looked like thunderstorms for the entire 4 day weekend we were planning on so we bailed. skied a bunch of great lines on independence pass instead
