that's when they're shooting to open but no guarentees. The weather should be ok this week for blowing during the nights. But i think its suppose to rain the 6 and 7th but well see. hope for cold.

wow i hope that the forecast is wrong but when i went up last sunday like 20 guns were in the park so thats a good sign

i dont think that bear will open on the 8th they have a week to go and they havent started blowin yet

Lets put it this way, two years ago bear opened from zero snow to solid 80% coverage in 72 hours, all we need is some cold, openin or not the 8th, josh ur prolly wrong id say once they open give them a week til the park starts to see any descent features, but the park will prolly be open in a day or two of blowing once the Bear is open last year it was almost immediately!

the 8th won't be happening they are calling for rain most of next week, but the following week they are calling for lows in 20s which means they will be able to blow oh and by the way the new zaugg is in and its 13ft but there was an attachment laying next to it that looked like an extention maybe a 18ft ?? we'll have to wait and see

 
im callin 15th unlikely, 16th likely, no reason why it would take anylonger if weather pans out how its susposed too

well the reason we would open later than the 16th is we would like to open as close to 100% as we can and to offer the best conditions possible....haha thanks Justin....I will find out more info tom. at work Lata

 
just to let yall know it snowed today if you were blind lol, and its was near bear too, that was lunch time just thought id cheer people up

well it's getting cld but not cold enough we some high teen weather with low humidity...looks like we will have a couple ights to try and lay soe snow out there...will update tom on whats going on....

 
well we got the guns goin last night, didn't cover too much cause of the temps but ton. i am sure they will be on full force....no def opening date yet. I will keep you posted!

 
the grille opens thrusday the 16th, id say by friday would be a good shoot especially if we pull off all day blowing on wednesday

Ok heres what they told me at the front desk at lunch time today, they are planning on the weekend! but theres a chance theyll be open Friday, which would kick ass, so i dunno what to tell ya, they do need a good bit of snow yet but they have the time, soo theres my two cent update

The earliest we will open is Saturday. This is not def. yet but if we do open it will be saturday. That is the official word as of right now. i will post again tom with an update Lata

 
i was scheduled to work on friday but not anymore since they aren't opening til saturday more :(

hahaha an FYI for those of you who don't know bob, he is terrain park manager/ groomer guy! lets all show a little love in dis place huh? lol

lol i am a supervisor in the rental shop. There are also other Bob's that work up there. One in vehicle maintenance, who groom's as well and as stated above one in park manag./groomer. hope that helps

 
well im really confused... does bobert have anything to do with park management or does he do rentals... and if he does rentals is the bob who we want to talk too on NS

yea sunday at 830 there opening they have pictures on the website it's looking pretty good. anybody who works there gonna be there tomrrow

 
yep looks like sunday....they should be able to cover a decent amount tonight. sorry about the whole Bob confusion. I am not on the park crew nor am i the park manager. If you have any suggestions about the park contact bob hill. He is the head of park manag. and is a groomer. Sounds like they have their act together this year and have great plans for the park.

 
word ill be up there in them damn marron and black get ups sunday! hopefully ill ski al lil better then i did today

i am gonna try and get out after 6 on sun after work. It would be nice if we got some snow sun night with the cold air that is coming..

 
to be honest with you i dunno....if anything a couple rails...i don;t think we will have any hits by sunday...i will let you know tom
