I was in Bozeman a couple of weeks ago and we drove up a canyon called Bear Canyon and at the top there is a ski area with one run and a t bar. there is a sign that says to use ski area call this number. anyone know anything about this. might be a good place to build a big park or something.

Mount Elise Acadamy. The bridger freestyle team uses it to train during the week, when there is enough snow. But usually there isnt enough snow, and the hill is mainly used for kids goin to the acadamy that have never skied before. Its a fun little place, but it gets mad old unless you're training moguls or something. Its possible you could push up maybe one table. but i highly doubt you could convice the acadamy to let you use it, we barly could and we still had to pay 10 bucks every time.

I agree, one table would be it, you would need the whole upper, and hidden, portion to charge it. I have skied a vendor day there, two lift rides and we were done. Cool to know someone uses it, MT Ellis is sketchy, Christian whacks.

Seven Day adventist are pretty strick right wing christians, if I am wrong please let me know, I met one in West yellowsronw and he was tweak.

haha yes "a tweak" more like a fucking freak! OHH SHIT

but seriously they are strict as fuck.

Yeah, I accidentaly yelled fuck up there one day when I was hitting dirt in the mogul ruts and I'm pretty sure all of the god-fearing people damned me to hell for it. Maybe I should have told them I was a gay islamic flag-burning pro-choice hippy as well.

Not that I know of. I think you may be able to rent the mountain for a day or something, but I'm not sure. I wouldn't bother skiing up there much anyway considering they get about as much snow up bear canyon as we do in town, you're much better off going to Bridger, Big Sky, or Moonlight.

As you head up the main trail of NWG, its off to the left near the intersection w/ charlie's face. there's some old boards there if i remember right.

Bump, just found this place. Updates?

Still an abandoned ski hill, and no signs of the tbar operating in the winter. People do a lot of touring laps there tho.

Believe it or not my buddy was up there the other night and they had the t-bar running. They actually let him ride it up. I think they were just making sure everything still works. But I heard if they are having an event they will tell you to leave. I guess my friend just got lucky.
