Beanie for wearing under helmet

I have seen many riders wear beanies and googles then a helmet on top, i have to admit that looks very cool. does anyone have suggestions for beanies that i could buy to then put on, and some google too?

Just look for a fitted beanie, slouch beanies have to much fabric to fit comfortably under a helmet. Usually cuff beanies do the job, just don't get one super thicc

I know saga makes one that fits easily under helmets. I use a north face one but I'm sure that you can pick one up at just about any store that sells winter gear.

I have this reversible north face beanie that I use everytime I ski. It doesnt matter what brand or what color, as long as it isn't a super loose beanie, because then your goggles will just slide down your face.

I personally like balaclavas better than the beanie and facemask combo because there is a lot less sliding around and its a lot easier to put on and less hassle in general. You can still get the same effect that you are looking for.

Part of this as well has to do with the helmet.

Not every type of helmet works for being on top of the hat/goggles. Really, you make sure you have a slim hat with no extra shit on it - just a basic hat - put your goggles on and then rip as much shit out of your helmet as possible while leaving the protective stuff in place and slap it on top.

If you already have a helmet, just take out everything extra inside. There's often a lot of extra earflaps, foam stuff, warmth liner, etc which is there just to keep it snug on your skull / keep you warm. For gods sake don't take out the protective stuff - but everything else must go.

I just use a thin face tube and my tallt beanie which is the only one I really like the thickness on. Key is to make sure you cuff that bad boy, just scrunching it up outside the helmet isn't gonna do much for ya.

I use a dry beanie kind of thing, something kind of like what runners have that are warm and super thin. Plus you don't get that worn off wool from scratching and it fits easily in any pocket.

I know, don't worry, i have a giro helmet and took every padding out but have all of the protective stuff inside, i have found a beanie and i wear that under with my ski googles on top, i have only my nose sticking out, all gucci
