Be safe at work

Well today I will definitely remember forever, I saw a man die today.

I work on construction sites basically watching to make sure they do everything right, review plans, that kinda stuff. Anyways I was sitting in my car and heard the most fucked up screams ive ever heard before. I got out walked around the corner of the building and there was a guy on the ground smoldering, with a bunch of other workers grabbing water and helping him. When I made my way over to him I saw what had happened. I guess he was installing hydro wires and must have done something wrong with them because he was shocked, causing his clothes to catch fire. By the time I got to him, his clothes were off and basically all his body was burnt, an update later in the day from the hospital said he has 95% coverage with 3rd degree burns and that theres a good chance he wont live through the night.

To make this have a point, this is the most fucked up thing ive ever witnessed, and what makes me feel so bad is that he was only in his 20`s, and that this was an avoidable death. When your at work be fucking safe whatever the hell you do!

wow that sounds intense. definitely drives a point home.

unfortunately with my job i can only take precautions to be safe, but there's always a risk when dealing with some drunken idiots. And where there are huge crowds and you represent the authority keeping the peace, there will always be people fighting you.

that really sucks, most workplace injuries are almost always avoidable. I sliced my finger open at work and had to get 4 stitches today. it sucks and it shouldnt have happened.

hope he makes it

a couple of years ago 2 guys at my work rolled a Kubota utility vehicle. soooo lucky no one got crushed
