I bought him a pair of pants and ''brand new'' crowbars......he was asking 100$ for each item

ME: sup man! got em and thx for fast shipping but the pants arent's what

expected, full rips and scratches.... I'd like you to refund my 90$ back

and i'll pay for shipping to your house because i'm not happy of the

condition of these...

HIM:The pants are fine

ME: wut?!??? i took pictures and everything and they arent..... Not for u to

be the judge.... they have at least 5 rips, i washed them thinking the

burn marks would go away but they didnt...... I want my 90$ back and

ill ship you back the pants and we'll be over together. In that shape

those pants arent wrth 100$ and im not accepting this. Refund me please

Trust me if u fall once with any kind of pants they will get stains, so

if u want to buy pants that cost $300 and be in perfect condition and

then cry once they look like ur yellow pants once u fall then let me

know.

Many rips, stains, burn marks and NEVER said anything..... The box of the crowbars is all beaten up and the carrying bag is dirty. Lens has very light scratches and that kid advertise it as brand new....

if you didnt ask about the condition its your fault.

I will be the one to break away from the hate-train this thread has become. As someone who sells a fair amount of stuff (usually on eBay, not skiing related), it is important to be up front about the condition of the item you are selling. When condition is not specified, it is assumed that it is not important....that is is obviously in good condition.

What you received is NOT in good condition. I don't know if they are worth $90 or not, but it is important for people to stand behind what they sell. To sell an obviously used/abused item, and not be up-front about it is no different than lying/stealing. Stand behind your product, make the customer happy, and refund his money. If I was the seller I would first offer a partial refund ($25) and offer to let you keep the pants. If this was not acceptable, a full return and refund would be in order. I do agree that you should perhaps pay the return shipping, as you did not expressly ask about the condition. This was your fault, and you learned from it, but the fault lies with the seller. Seller, time to man-up and do the right thing. If the seller does not do so, he is clearly not a man, does not hold himself accountable for his actions, and you should obviously contact his parents as they are still responsible for their son's behavior.
 
dude i dont see any problems with the pants, those scratches are normal and you should have asked for pictures.
 
i didnt ask because 100$ for those pants is alot so i assumed they were in better shape..... If i was the seller id surely mention they have little rips/stains in the bottom leg from sliding and falling.....Going from there i accepted the crowbars but i dont accept the pants so i ask for a refund and I would pay the shipping back and still he doesnt want. He doesnt loose any money in there so why saying no?!???
 
Um. Actually if he refunds he looses 90 dollars. You should have taken the initiative to ask for the condition. Thats the 1st thing i do when i see something im interested in buying. Not trying to be a douche bag.
 
well idk man seems like steez_Ball is not to blame you flat out should have asked for the condition of the pants
