Heavy rain and warm on Sunday and Monday. Several computer projection models show a series of strong rainstorms will hit the West Coast on Sunday and Monday bringing heavy rain and warmer air. Current forecast project the rainfall amounts to be near 100mm. Some forecasts show that rainfall amounts may exceed 200mm over a 3 day period from Saturday morning to Tuesday morning.

Several computer projection models show the warm pattern will persist over the West Coast for the next couple weeks.

well all you BC skiers shouldnt enjoy reading that. 300 mm of rain with FL at 1800M well thats sucking.... and a warm wet january too... I doubt we will be skiig much more, except whistler high up, unless these forecasts arent as bad as they sound

tru...plus the whole fact that the only place you could make houses would be at the peaks of very tall mtns.....and I doubt that 6billion people could cram it in at the equator....meh....it would kick ass for the first like 100 years...and tehn it would jsut suck for everyone. I think that the USA would just start pumping greenhouse gases into the air to try adn stop it....so I dont' ever think we will have one again....oh well too bad.

Yah it is weird...Baker still has been gettin snow...and You guys too.. But vancouver has been warmer then usual..Whsitler is ok..still they lost alot of snow

I live in toronto

we had a bit of snow in mid december.. one night.

next day it melted away.

since then, nothing.

absolutley no snow here what so ever.

Well it looks like the freezing level is going to be at about 1700 metres. Whis is supposed to get 20-30 cm on Sunday above the tree line. Should be pretty good for my days off on Monday and Tuesday!

 
how high is 1700 meters? Why doesnt everyone use the english system.

The person that wrote this post is gealous of how much snow the westcoast gets. And that is the only reason that someone would write something so dumb. They are pussied and lick balls at skiing. FOREVER WESTCOAST..

 
You guys all sucks and stop complaining. here in the east we have gotten 20' of snow all year and we are skiing on pure ice. you should be happy youve goten snow already.

 
yeah we have gotten an inch or 2 and it is supposed to warm up like right now it is like 37 today and it willl be rain/snow mix later in the week. mt bohemia only has like 7 runs or something like that open and that area is really really snowy

yeah we only have like a 130inch base on top of alpental, thats just the base not the total snowfall though

whistler and blackcomb are doing awesome, what you are all forgetting is that when it rains in the villiage it snows at the top, things are still very good, trust me.
