depending on the season, just dig down into the snowpack about 3 feet until you hit the compressed layers and cut blocks out using that snow. its harder and more stable then fresh pow, plus it takes up a lot of room and u can cut out blocks of snow as big as u can carry making building the jump a breeze. once you've got your basic shape built use your shovel to shape the tranny and if you want it to look snazzy shave off some excess snow from the sides of the jump making it look square. there ya go!

p.s.-dont forget to pack some of the inrun by just side stepping up the hill with ur skis on.

ye i always make a little snow chair next to the jump, then you can chill and watch people hit it when your takin a break

^ thats what i do also put some road salt on it to harden it up. but what anthony and jp do in the bc is they make blocks of snow and pack them into blocks. they then stack em.

ya just get big blocks of snow and stack them up for me for back yard i pile up hay bails that seems to work really good too

Thongs are so hot right now

I put my ramp that I built out of wood for a base for a jump that way it goes alot quicker. I just make a huge mound of snow around it then shape it
