BC Backcountry Hut Site

I've been workin' away at my new pimped out hut map site athttp://www.doglotion.com/huts/

because the old section was getting a lot of attention but needed love.

Check'er out. Feedback? Ideas? any super obvious not-so-secret huts I forgot to list? not spoiling any secrets, just putting the obvious ones in one easy place for day dreaming and trip ideas. hoping to add trip reports and some other features.

You got them pretty well covered for the Pemberton area. Need to add the Tenquille Lake hut still because it's pretty nice since it got rebuilt. I didn't see Place Glacier on there either but to be honest I haven't heard anything about those huts in years and don't think they were ever much good for ski access.

Thanks ya the new and improved Tenquile is worth mention.

Some obvious ones in the west kootenays that are missing. Jumbo Pass, Ripple Cabin (kootenay pass), the Bonnington huts (grassy, steed, copper, huckleberry).

I know of a lot more that are just free sledder cabins that have great skiing but I think most of them should stay off the map. Well, I guess Russel and and Shakers cabins in the Norns Range are well known enough. If you don't know where some of them are I can give you coordinates.

Haha. I didn't think about that til after i made the post. I assumed he was being redundant with the "BC Backcountry" in the title and it was a typo.

It looks pretty good. Better than the 10th Mtn hut maps we have in the US.

Good call, I'll get those top ones in there. I don't have intel on the last few you mentioned so any coordinates/info would be cool thanks.

Adding some east coast in here would be nice as well...

Ya starting with BC for now then when it stops snowing can add more.

Oh this is super cool. Is there anything like this for Washington/Oregon?

I'll hit Washington/OR after BC. I think.

Or even just giving us the option to add to the map directly

Even better call. I'll work on that after New Years. Stay tuned.

Ya BC for now, but keen to grow it. I'll use 10th Mtn to get me started on intel, then will have to start digging for the rest. any other half decent sites I could start with?
