Bbp #5 park in da east

that's sick i was was confused when i saw mountain creek in freeskier i figured boulder would be up there...but i've never been to mtn creek so somebody plz enlighten me

 
I am not positive about this, but I think it has something to do with Intrawest. Nichole Birkhold (freeskier editor) while at Sno Mtn Jib Academy made a huge point on why they had to visit Mtn creek while I was telling them to come to Big Boulder to check things out.

I don't know this for a fact. But I am betting that Mtn creek/intrawest paid for Freeskier to come check them out.
 
im almost positive that youre right. im also pretty sure they paid freeskier to put them in there because honestly mountain creek has sort of been getting worse every year. last season was sort of an exception with an all park mountain which was alright, and it was also their first year trying to get it right and keep it well maintained. so maybe this upcoming season we will hopefully see some better features at creek.
 
personally i think creek is as good as boulder at peak season when there's snow and everything is open and groomed nicely... but after that short like 2 week time period boulder just kicks creeks ass
 
ya unfortunately from the way you make it sound..you only get an epic park for 2 weeks..boulder seems to keep it fresh all year round by mixing things up and maintaining everything....from personal views and outside opinion my conclusion is boulder>creek

 
agreed. although i've only been to creek once, so maybe it's not a fair comparison. creek's park was mediocre when i was there, and it was super super crowded. definitely not worth the hype, or drive for me.
