Bay area ski shop(s)?

I want to get my bindings mounted before the weekend. Suggestions. I live in the east bay so I would prefer not to drive into SF.

I'd watch out with NorSki, they've done a poor job with the core shot I had them fill, and the employees (at least in the lafayette one) are hardly knowledgeable...

When I was there with my mom and sister getting new boots for my sister, I had to put the liner back in the boot because the "qualified" bootfitter couldn't do it. Her boots are kinda fucked up now because they punched them out in a place no sane bootfitter would ever do (outside side of the toebox, WAY too much) and I didn't know anything about it at the time... but now it's just like, holy crap who let them do that?

other than that, I'd say idk... personally I'd go to Porters in Truckee or Tahoe City to do it

ive wondered the same thing there really is no good shops. i had my skis mounted at rei it was my last resort option

California ski shop did mine a couple days ago. They did the job, aka didn't fuck up so I guess I should recommend them?

I completely forgot about California Ski Company; if you've got to stay in the bay, they're your shop. They're a good bootfitter, in my experience, as well, but I'd still always choose Porters.
