Battlefield 3 hype !!!!!

I've never pre-ordered a game in my life but I am 100% sure I'm pre ordering this....and Diablo III. Those are probably the only games I'll ever pre-order, plus I'm getting too old for video games haha. BF3 is gonna straight blow all the COD games out of the water, not that BFBC2 didn't already do that.
 
Whyyy did you have to post this in February?! Now I have to hope that I completely forget about this thread until about August.
 
Next week EA is having it's games developers conference and they are announcing a bunch of BF3 details then. Stoked, then comes the wait, but there's some good stuff coming out in the meantime to tide me over. There's gonna be so much coming out late August-September, and in November, I dunno what I'm gonna buy.
 
Destruction 2.0 and earthquakes. The game engine could hypothetically simulate the burj-dubai collapsing
 
HOLY SHIT. Battlefield 2 used to be one of my favorite games of all time. This looks UNREAL...well real actually. I don't think I'll be able to wait till fall though. HYPE

I used to waste away on battlefield 2 for the original xbox. this is all my dreams coming true. this just inspired me to get live again and my xbox fixed.
 
is battlefield 3 avaialble for xbox too? I'm not a big gamer at all so im very uneducated

It'll be part of single player for sure... No idea how they might incorporate it into multi-player
 
What happened was DICE studio and the creators of CRYSIS made a trade. Dice gave crysis the coding for destruction and Crysis gave dice the coding for mega graphics. Looks super sick
 
i cannot fucking wait. BF2 is so fucking sick its unreal. fucking bringing down buildings on motherfuckers and m-com stations like its my job.
 
I wish someone would make a shooter where you actually have to have some skill to use the guns (ala CS), rather than just running around and pointing a red dot at someones head who can't even see you because the maps are so big and theres so much shit to hide behind.
 
i think video games should consist of bolt action rifles that take 3 shots to kill someone in a completely white space with no obstacles, no teams, no objectives, and no respawns
 
No, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Not only is, coding not that simple to trade like a commodity, but Battlefield 3 is fun on Dice's in house engine Frostbite 2. BFBC2 was running on Frostbite 1.
 
they have to make games more realistic. on CS you have to do team work and battlefield too. in battlefield no teamwork= fail.!!!!! RUSH mod is the best !. battlefield bad company powns CS in my mind.(was playing alot of CS but when the battlefield series started to pop out....damn..... battlefield all the way.!)
 
I don't know, the single-player looks very generic and boring. But I guess so has every modern war shooter since COD4.
