Battery Recall

My battery only lasts about an hour, so do you think I could exchange it? Do I have to send my battery in after I get a new one? It gets pretty hot, so I'm kind of worried it's defected (hehe).

What model of computer? MacBook? MacBook Pro? Powerbook? iBook?

There was a battery recall for some powerbooks, macbook pros, as well as iBooks. Look into that. If so, you're in luck, new battery for you.

It's a powerbook 15 inch, it doesn't list it under recalled batteries, or as far as i can tell.

Then it seems to me that you're outta luck, and it's time to buy a new battery.

you have to check the number on the battery, I thought about doing this too, sadly mine didnt match
