Has anyone on here ridden a Bataleon board or know someone who has? I'm thinking about getting one but I don't know if the Triple Base TEchnology is worth it. It's kinda big/growing in Europe. Any people/euros ride a bataleon?

Heres what it is. http://bataleon.com/en/tbt

Heres a couple videos also for viewing pleasure. AND, do you think TBT would work on sksi?

whats with all the drama between sbers and skiiers? both respected sports.

and I /do/ suggest you look into those boards, my friend avran, he tests boards for a living and he says that brand has maad carving skills.

ive ridden it, and its sick as aids

carving and just freeriding shit in general feels natural on the board, and the TBT really allows you to ride out of anything, you can land all kinds of fucked up from even the hugest jumps and still ride away clean, but the TBT takes some getting used to on rails, ive never owned a bataleon but when i broke a capita i rode my friends old evil twin for a week and half and for the first two days i was slipping out on rails like crazy, but once you get used to it really helps prevent edge catches, and you can do switchups like a champ

the only downside to bataleons is that they are heavy and they lose all their pop and turn pretty flacid within the spae of like... half a season.... youll love the shit out of the board when you first get it, and be able to ollie over small children and slow signs and pop super big gaps, but it breaks in alot really fast, and leaves you with a slightly below average poppiness level

ahhhh shitty news, man.

Im liking the GNU and k2 myself right now. gnu is my trick board, got it about five years ago really light pretty short helps with the rails. my new k2 is a bit longer a little heavy but nice flex so I can do some nice back country.

do you know anything about the new neverland movie coming out?

dude tripe base is amazing.

it's new with sb, but they have gotten something better got the tbt. it basically hugs the snow in the right places so you "roll" with it... I unno. mountain curved.. flat board? yeah. you want something a little concave with some nice layers.

Wow, thanks a lot man, I never thought I would actually talk to anyone about Bataleon. So would you recomend me getting a Bataleon if I would have it for 2 seasons? Also how bad does the pop wear off?

it just gives you a three-stage rocker between the edges of your board (toe vs heel) similar to how a regular board or ski might have a rocker between the tip and tail

it helps with carving because you can roll into turns and such a little better, and it helps you ride out of sketchy situations on rails and jumps because the edges are lifted a little, and you wont catch, it also helps the board response time from edge to edge, and makes buttering pretty fun

you know what dude, I suggest you get something that last a long time even if you are only using it for 2 seasons.

It will be waay more dependable, and if you decided to sell it you can get some good money.

part of teh edges are raised on tip and tail so its really hard to catch an edge which helps A LOT. also means the edge that does touch carve a lot easier, the edges dont try to dig in while you don't want to carve.

two of my friends have been/still are sponsored by bataleon and i think i might get a bataleon riot this year because im so fucking sick of breaking a CAPiTA every two-three weeks

id totaly recommend getting one, the boards break in alot, but what you are left with is by no means bad, its just less than what most other boards become, its made up for by the base tech, which really kicks ass, and the boards in general are totally bullet proof, everyone i know whos ridden bataleon has ridden it for at least a whole season straight without it being destroyed at the end, so i think one would totally last 2 seasons

i don't know, it would be harder, because you'd have to put way more energy into turning. but that sounds sick. if it was just raised a tiny bit, it would help a ton on rails, and wouldn't be much harder for turning

^ fucking agreed dude! gtfo snowboarder no disrespect but this is a ski website, find a snowboard one to talk about bataleon (they're sick though, really poppy)

the only thing(s) that's wrong with this sentence is...

its Sphincter, being the muscle in your bum hole

also, its sayS, not sayZ

and spaces help too

o and finally this is a skiing forum, BRAH

there is no such thing(don't give me some shitty website that fails at being like ns, I've already given them a try) and by teh way, its just a question that highly relates to skiing.(could Triple base technology be used on skis)

nah brah, this is NSG. NON-SKI GABBER. YOU JUST GOT UBER PWNED BIOOOOOOTCH.C-C-C-C-C-C-C-C-C-C-C-OMBo BREAKER. OWNAGE

and about "spinktersayzwhat", I meant to spell it like sphinktersayzwhat, with an h. and i used no space because it is a) fast and decieving and b)I was watching waynes world and he said it just like that.
