Baseball bats unlocked in a canadian tire

k i was walking around canadian tire yesterday and i walked past the sports isle and there was a bin full of metal baseball bats like what the fuck someone could walk in take one and go hold up the store with it jeez

Are there actually stores that lock stuff like that up? Every sporting good store I've been to has stuff like that on display.

Yeah you could also hold them up with a weight plate or a golf club. They'd need to lock up half their shit cuz I guess you could use most sporting goods as a weapon.

i am pretty sure that if you were going to rob a store, you could buy the baseball bat and then just steal your money back... Doesnt seem much point in locking it up.
