Base Bulge. Help?

So i have one screw that got overtightened when mounting my bindings which made a little bump on my base...i fixed it and loosened it. after this i tried to smooth out the bulge and lightly tap it with a hammer with a pad cover the spot to make less stress on it. any other ideas how to completely remove this bulge from my base? i'm thinking about putting a LITTLE ptex on and just smoothing / scraping but i'm not sure if that is a great option. also, i am thinking it may correct when i put a hot iron to it and then rewax..

any help is appreciated! thank you!

if a shop mounted the bindings, make them fix it. I you mounted the, just shave off the bulging area with a razor blade, unless its bulging past the depth of your base, if that makes any sense.

i did it. first time it ever happened, over tightened with a drill :/ should have known better and just hand screwed..it didn't break through the base at all, just left a little bump underneath that i have made a lot smaller in the past hour..it is only really big enough to barely feel now. just wondering if anyone else ever made this dumb mistake and how they fixed it completely. i don't think it will effect my riding.
