Barons for park?

I am thinking about getting a pair of on3p kartel 106s come this spring. I would like to get into some BC, but I also want to use them in the park. Would the Marker baron EPFs be good for park and some light BC? If not, what should I look at?

No.

Not much to keep a baron on the ski when landing backward. Just that one screw and the walk mode cam lever.

Guardians, or Adrenalins would be better, but no touring binding will be that good for park use.

Thanks, the guardians look pretty sweet. I get that this is kinda silly, but I really am trying to go for a one ski quiver.

I've had barons on a couple different pairs of skis. I have no doubt that they can take the abuse of park skiing. I've never skied them in the park but I've taken plenty of hard switch landings on them and they have yet to develop any sort of play in the plate. However, I think that the added height of the binding would feel a little weird in the park.

You want Trekkers.

Nobody wants trekkers unless they're skinning up to a BC booter.

A buddy of mine just ripped off the rail on the rear plate that the frame attaches to. 0/10 wouldn't ski park in.
