Was going to get panda poles last year. This year panda poles are out stock.

Got grass sticks $20 off on the rei sale.

What do people think of bamboo poles?

True. I got them cuz they look dope.

Someone was telling me they like that flex well (physically flex, not show off). I dunno about that...

Been rocking a set of Panda Poles since 2005(Im from the same town where they started) and have only had to change the baskets. They are strong, light weight and are a great conversation starter. I know they are not manufacturing any at the moment but they may return.

Looks like your new sticks are cool!

What happened. Why aren’t they making any?

They are still making them but only doing preorders at certain times and only making limited sets. If you got intsagram go give them a follow, Tanner is posting updates here and there about what is going on.

I’d get them, but there are none to be had...

It's just bamboo. I'm sure the other brands hold up in a similar fashion for durability. What I really love about them tho is the baskets and the grips. Baskets are still in stock. Grips could probably be replicated diy

Protip

Go to your home improvement store, buy bamboo, epoxy

buy 5 dollar set of poles at secondhand store

cut tip/basket off pole and pull grip off

epoxy tip/basket into bamboo, put grip on top.

you now have sub 10 dollar bamboo poles

Not sure who downvoted this but this is good advice. Just make sure the bamboo isn't super hollow and has thick enough walls. Panda poles have the grips and tips screwed into the bamboo. I haven't looked inside but I'd gander they're either pretty narrow inside or an epoxy was used. If you live in a warm climate you can even grow your own bamboo!

Not a bad idea actually

I like their baskets.

I’ve heard issues that their plastic injections supplier owns the mold and that’s causing issues.

REALLY???? YOU PEOPLE ACTUALLY THINK THIS???

The feel of bamboo poles is COMPLETELY different from typical poles.

I've ridden bamboo a handful of times, and I look forward to it each time. Cant wait to get my own!

They are so darn springy and lively and fun!

Make ya feel like a cheerleader doing handsprings down the mountain!

Boingboingboingboing! Boiyoiyoioiyoiyoing! Boingyboingy! Boing! Boing! Boing!

Yo body LAUNCHIN out from yo pole plants!

Titties slappin ya in the face fun!

Spry spring chicken fun!

Celebrity panda at the San Francisco Zoo fun!

Fun as all hell!

You ever met someone that didn't tooth a big dumb grin when you ask em how they like their grass sticks?

[tag=254937]@Rotten_Trumpkins[/tag] , A man of taste.

Not our fault these downvoting noodle arms have never planted a pole hard enough to recognize the nuances between materials ??‍♀️

That’s part of what I like about them.

Normally I ski without poles, but I feel weird not knowing what to do with my hands.

Sometimes I switch to my other poles, aluminum adjustable poles. However, they are still light and feels weird holding something with no weight.

Amped about these “just poles”; look sick, some weight to them, seem durable and I can boing around the ski resort like Mario.

i liked how soul poles for instance had a bit of "Give" to them and absorbed a little bit of impact i guess but yeah after breaking too many pairs, decided to go back to classic metal ones. didnt want to be that guy blowing up their emails like "lol hey guys it happened again"

I think they are really great. In general, I like bamboo very much. I made a fence out of it a year ago. Many people underestimate how strong and high-quality this material is, especially for home use. My friend even has a bamboo floor covering and it looks really great! My wife didn't share my love of eco-friendly materials at first. She preferred more modern materials in the interior, such as glass or concrete. However, a week ago, she bought bamboo toothbrushes from https://ecoy.com.au/. I was very pleased.
