My brother's birthday is on the 29th (day after thanksgiving) and he was trying to get a bunch of our friends (we live in seattle) to go up to baker over the holiday weekend. the website doesn't have very consistent pictures or stats in general and we were wondering if it's going to be open by then. to any nsers who live in bham, could you walk outside and tell me what you think?

i think it's unlikely at this point that baker will open for thanksgiving, the storms weren't as strong as expected :(

i might head out to mission ridge instead if i can.
 
yah i live in bellingham and mt.baker says that there is a good chance baker will open holiday weekend. right now they have 16 inches at base and they need from 20 to 36 inches to start. there is a good chance they will open but i can't say for sure.
 
baker will not open this holiday weekend, unless mother nature decides to do a 180 and shit all over us, but whats the likelyhood of that?

Baker sucks i don't know why anyone would want to go up there. i mean, it's always to cold, theres no high speed quads, you have to drive off the mountian for lodging, it always snows to much, and sometimes it's hard to see.
