Baker

I went up yesterday and it was so much fun! There was no park tho... just lots and lots of powder... I actually got to go look around at the area instead of just lapping the park like usual... there are some fun runs...

wait why would you aski about park on a powder day? and no park and includes: rails, boxes jumps or jibs.

well... I like powder, but I'm not very good in it as I'm from the east coast. I usually spend half my day in the park and half exploring the rest of the mountain. And when I was there last weekend they had a few boxes set up, I was just wondering if they had taken then out or not.

 
can't wait for this weekend its gonna be sweet! gotta go find me some cliffs to huck off

^ don't know about bc but most the cliffs i saw where tracked out or still not hittble, i was ridding along the tree area skiers right of five and had to drop a manitory 10 footer but on landing found it was a rock face only 4 inches under snow so be carful where you drop. there where some good looking spots on 1 but check the landings first.

Lots of nice cliffs to jump off on pan face, the chute, and canyons. Just don't smash your face on your knees like I did on Wednesday

thoes little chutes above the canyon where fun. i fucking met a guy up there who was in his mid 40's and was ridding a new pair of motherships and durring the ride up he was telling me he couldn't figure out why his son like salomon so much he also was all about supporting the progression of skiing, later that day i saw him pop to switch on a cat track below me and now i want this guy as my dad.

thanks for the heads up on the cliffs, anyone wanna recommend some simple BC stuff to hit? i haven't done much in the BC at baker but i've taken all the classes and got all the gear so i'm prepared but i'm just not sure where to start

Baker wasn't too bad today. All the boxes were taken out and set aside, which kinda sucked, but I had fun in the powder. There were some nice lines right over canyon.

 
I kind of wish they had they box garden up, it would have kept all the little kids there and out of my way today. HELL
