i went sledding at baker once and the snow quality was terrible. all mushy and hard. definitely none of that colorado cold smoke i hear about all the time. id say best bet is to drive to crystal every day. they got that elevation

Hey everybody, I am currently in Vancouver and was thinking of going down to Baker this thursday and friday, anyone have any tips? How's the snow up there? I'm guessing there's not much. ahaaha

But they're forecasting for a bit, you guys think it will be any good? If it's raining at the bottom can I expect it to be real heavy snow up top? Also is it possible to sleep in my van in the parking lot? If not any good spots to do so? What about touring near the resort or slackcountry?
