Bad Boards!

General idea is what snowbards have you snapped/broken or think that they have performed poorly. what boards have performed well? try to keep it short so people can put this thread to practical use.

good

-02/03 k2 temptation 157. solid

-04/05 rome agent 155. it was stable and fun good flex

bad

-04/05 & 05/06 burton uninc 158s. broke both but got warranty

-04/05 arbor mystic 157. too skinny, no flex=no fun

Burton Dominant is terrible, one of my friends snapped or popped the edges out of 5 or 6 of them last season (but continued to buy them because he's spoiled and loves their flex). However, I demoed one and thought it rode like a piece of crap too. K2 makes their boards too heavy. I've ridden 2 of them (Union and WWW) and they were a third heavier than any other board I've tried. Can't really say I'm a fan of Burtons either since Nitro, Ride, and Rome boards last twice as long as any Burton I've seen.

i loove my uninc 158 and 156 both are perfect for me. started out a lil stiff but totaly lossend up and got all buttery in the right places. i can still pop off the jumps or hold a carve with it but it still lets u lock in2 a nosepress or 5-0 with out having 2 do the classic "lean back" so many kids do 2 try 2 do them tricks I

havnt used it on the mountain but just buttering in my living room is enough for me to love my '07 uninc

OMG I WANNA RIDE IT

dominants are nice but they get busted alot, buddys burton baron split betweeen top sheet and base(fucked up and snapped)

if your small and can get away with it buy a burton punch..its like the jones but with more feel and almost as much snap, most fun board to ride ever(i grew 1 foot though so no more) and obviously cheap so if your short buy one

i LOVE my uninc 156 so much pop, great for park, decent for everywhere else
