Hello All,

I am sorry to give thi supdate but the Line Anthem has been cancelled. All of you who have preseason orders through www.untracked.com will be getting an email tomorrow letting you know what your options are. We will be sure to do something for you since you have been so patient with us throug this whole ordeal. Please look at the rest of the Line Skis or any others to ski for this year.

Here is the letter from Line-

Dear Line Supporters,

Line Skis have never been known for coloring within the lines. It’s what makes us who we are and what has kept us unique, innovative, and always pushing the edge. Our highly anticipated new Anthem ski is the perfect example this pioneering spirit.

Unfortunately due to potential legal issues relating to the Anthem’s graphics we will not be delivering this model. Consequently, this letter is formally advising you that we are cancelling your current orders for the Anthem and do not anticipate the ability to deliver this model to you at any point in the near future.

Trust me when I say we are as disappointed as you are by this unforeseen chain of events. I personally apologize for any aggravation or inconvenience this has caused. When you’re dealing with lawyers and rock stars, things are not so easy.

We created this new, one-of-a-kind, fat, symmetric, freestyle ski that was like nothing the ski world had ever seen. Its features and performance were so unique, it instantly became our 2nd most popular model with dealers, as well as one of our personal favorites.

Rock and roll will never die! Nor will the Anthem.

I look forward to us all getting on it next year.

I didn't buy the anthem, but that really sucks, I would be furious. Mountains on the east are just starting to open up, and I feel for anyone who can't thrash the gnar because line fucked up.
 
I'm not a big fan of Line but those seemed pretty sick. I feel bad for everyone who can't get them now.
 
^ Damn I'm glad I bought some scratches, I knew something like this would happen. I was looking at the chronic blends anyhow though.

damn im pissed i wanted anthems sooo bad
 
so if they have already made all of the skis....what the hell are they going to do with them? id go dumpster diving for a couple pairs of anthems.
 
yeah its called CHINA. There might be about 20 pairs in the country that were used for rep samples and photo shoots, but not for retail. I will hopefully have more info on what is happening later this week.

 
I'm determined to somehow, someday, get a pair of these. I had really no intenetion of getting them but now that there are a ton made but going to shit....i will find a pair.
 
anyone know where about in china there manufacture is located at in china? I know a couple people over there...and i might be goin back there in a couple weeks to.
 
I will be extremely curious as to what Line plans on doing with the huge surplus of skis they will have. They could always just paint them to void the whole trademarked image thing.

what about people who ordered off the line pro form. I got some anthems off of there like on the 9th. Will they at least be delivered?

One of the reps around me has a pair.
