Backyard Ski setup measurements

Hey NS , i got a couple questions.

let me start off saying that me and my buddy made a ski rail this summer and we are currently working on a backyard jib setup. We have a 4ft base of a drop but we haven't made the actual drop incline yet (only the base).

So if the drop is 4ft , how long and what degree should we make the drop going into the lip for the rail (the rail is about 2ft tall)

Also do you think we should make the drop bigger? (5ft)

Lastly what is the size of your backyard jib setup?

my drops 6 feet up by 15 long i think, i would go 5 x15 though mines a bit steep for my liking

By any chance could you post a picture? I need to get a good idea on how I want the structure to look

Mine is 7 feet tall. I don't know how long it is but it's really steep and gives us too much speed. It's still fun to ride but it took a bit to get used to. I'd recommend 5-6 feet and an 18in tall lip, 18-22 inch tall rail depending on what you want. You want it steep enough that you can get speed but not too steep to where you're not able to stay in control. I'd try a 40-45 degree angle if I could rebuild it.

Since im currently stuck with 4ft of drop, speed may be what I need, is it possible you to can post a pic of your setup ? Thanks !

I posted a picture of mine it is 5 feet tall and the down hill part is 8 feet long. It is steep but it's the perfect amount of speed
