My setup used mSnow (baller ik) but plastic lattice is what I've seen work the best. Like paul said just put it on the drop in.

Another option is to have the drop-in part be made of slats, it just makes less surface area of contact between your skis and the surface. This is what I did, it might seem sketch but you'd literally have to lean at an impossible angle to get your skis caught in it. If you combined this method with lattice you might just unlock super speed

Now that is a legit backyard set up. How’d you convince the resort to let you do that?

Hahahaha my bad I should've mentioned that wasn't mine in the photo. Just an example of the slat thing I was talking about. That right there is mSnow's. Not my picture

Here's my setup though before it got dismantled after a good 4-5 years

thanks for all the tips guys, so now we have the turf set up.

ik we should’ve thought of something before hand but our yard isn’t too steep so i don’t think we’ll have enough speed with the slope rn.

is there anything we could do to gain more speed besides getting the lattice (which we will do) and building a large drop in?

pics too

Build a drop in. If your homie has a roller coaster in the backyard it shouldnt be much of an issue to add a drop in somewhere

his grandfather lived in kentucky for a while and had it in his yard, when his dad would go and see him from college they would use it together. when he passed away, he was given the rollercoaster.

it’s not as big as it may seem

Maybe share the story of the rollercoaster with us?
