Just finished with my big two year project. Here are some pics.

THe ramp, fully built at the end of this summer.

We built the ramp on top of a play set with the original intention of building the ramp entirely out of snow..... nope that wont work, unless i want to spend 98% of winter piling all the snow in my yard.

And here is the main attraction, the rail, fully dug into the ground and stable as can be, 16 ft long down kink.

We got the snow the day before turkey day this year, built the jump, and on turkey day, we finnaly hit it.

Here is a picture of the ramp with snow.

just don't forget to reset you supports this summer, because we hammered ours in a long time ago, and the now middle one is not even close to ''stable as can be,'' but it does make the slide a little more interesting

well me and my roommate are both construction management majors, so wood framing a ramp like that isn't exactly rocket science. basically a day to build the ramp and a day to buy the parts for the rail and sledgehammer the supports into the ground. but if you had little to no construction experience it might take you a lot longer, plus i'm sure his rail is a lot more sturdy than mine

haha i love how everyone builds ramps but i have a little hill exactly that big right on the side of my house

wow thats a lot of work for not that much, i just use a hill for my rail
